The purchase of this stamp/s will earn you 3 points valued at $0.05.

The 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote was passed in 1920 but native American and black women were still denied their voting rights. All Native American, men and women, were granted the right to vote in 1924.

With the passage of the Voting Rights Act of August 6, 1965 and subsequent legislation, voter protection and discrimination improved and Black women were in-practice able to exercise their right to vote.

The battle continues to this day to allow all American the right to vote.
