*"Semi-Official souvenir cards include those produced by security printers which have also printed currency and postage stamps in the U.S. and Canada. These cards often feature intaglio prints from original plates engraved more than a century ago. The vast majority were put out by the American Bank Note Company, which tended to feature paper money designs. Other bank note companies produced cards with philatelic themes.
